MARTINSVILLE MOTOR SPEEDWAY (5/11/2001) - temp report The first lap is very clean racing then on lap 2 Stenzo cuts down on the #17 car spinning himself out.(as seen above) The #43 car then bounces off Stenzo and into Jays car damaging the rear of his car. This would bring out the first yellow of the day. The track is cleaned up and ready for racing once again on lap 8.

Coyote now the new leader of the race starts them out until lap 27 when the #99 car moved into the lead. On lap 35 the #6 car spins out and the #1 car hits him bring out the 2nd caution of the day. Back to green flag racing and Bob is on a tear, taking the lead from Coyote on lap 56 when the yellow fly's again on lap 57. Stenzo had hit the #43 car as they where racing for position. Bob gives up the lead to pit with Speed. Coyote stays out to lead once again. The race go's green on lap 62 and stays green for 105 laps. This would forces Coyote to pit under green on lap 138. Coyote now two laps down to the leader in the #18 car would have to fight his way back.

The last caution would be brought out by Speed as he was being pressured by the leader in the #18 car. Speed was racing to stay on the lead lap in 4th place when he hit the #17 car that was three laps down. Speed saves his car and manages to hold on to 4th place on the lead lap. This wreck would allows Coyote to get back one of his laps has the #18 car pits. Coyote was now in 11th place.

The race would finish under this lengthy yellow with the #20 car in 1st place, Bob in 2nd and Speed in 3rd. Stenzo having a bad day would finish in 29th 20 laps down.
