HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY

    SPEED Wins Homestead and JasonSD Wins the 2011 MNTR Season.   Homestead was another great race with only three cautions coming out.   JasonSD and Y-Lee gave up track position to get they're extra point for leading a lap and when to the back of the field.   After a good long green run the #1 car, #57 car and SPEED broke away from the pack.   Then as green flag pitting was going on, the yellow came out.   This is always a nightmare for Amins.   An Amin just tries to make the wright call at the time.   I can't tell you how hard it is to do Amin calls and race.   After the last restart SPEED got stuck behind the Lucky Dog recipient and lost the draft.   This would work to his advantage as he just stayed back drafting to save gas.   Which would give SPEED the win as the #57 ran out of gas coming out of turn two.   SPEED also would run out of gas coming out of turn 4 but had more momentum and was able to coast by the #57 to win the race.   JasonSD finish 4TH for the night playing it save and taking it easy, only trying to stay in front of Y-Lee to win the Championship.   In the middle of the race Y-Lee got down to low and touched the apron,  as he was trying to pass a lap car, that didn't give him a lot of room to pass.   But that's racing.  This would end an change for Y-Lee to win the Championship,  Y-Lee would finish the race in 8TH place.   This bad finish along with the two point lead JasonSD already had would lock JasonSD in as the 2011 MNTR Season Winner.   Great job by everyone racing this year.   It's been fun and Team SpeedLan is looking forward to next year.   We may run some of the Winter season races but for the most part we take the Winter season off.
The Winter Season race tracks have be updated and are ready to go.   Just trying to test out some other tracks for next year.   We will be running a new MOD for next year and will be testing it out this Winter Season.   Hopefully this will work out better and we're hoping that we get some new drivers to join us for 2012 Season.   Team SpeedLan wants to thank MNTR for allowing us the opportunity to race with them for the last three years.   Also Thanks to everyone that puts in so much time to make MNTR such a great place too race at.   OK hope to cya on the track soon.
